I&amp;#8217;ve only worked out 3/6 of the last days =/ but for the last two my body was so sore that I just couldn&amp;#8217;t make myself. But those are just excuses, or as I like to call them, the mottos of losers. I&amp;#8217;m making progress and I have a lot of things to motivate me:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. winning&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. swimsuit season&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. winning&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. intrinsic motivation&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5. fitness&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6. winning. winning. winning.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5 days ago I barely made it through half the class. Tomorrow, I go on to the next class in the series. Then after that I&amp;#8217;m supposed to have a &amp;#8220;rest day&amp;#8221; but forget that. I&amp;#8217;m working on my arms that day. Watch out, Laurel. I didn&amp;#8217;t even get through the whole 55 minute class thing. I crapped out after thirty minutes :( but that&amp;#8217;s because I didn&amp;#8217;t feel awesome to begin with today. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Then I did an hour and a half of LSAT prep and then went out to run some errands now I gotta go get ready for a friend&amp;#8217;s grad party. I am getting stuff DONE today. Why wasn&amp;#8217;t I this productive during finals week? &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So Day 1 is a success for the December Fitness Battle 2011. Bring it, Laurel.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Apples are of special value to heart patients. They are rich in potassium and phosphorus but low in sodium. It is also useful for patients of high blood pressure. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Apple is also said to be beneficial to gout patients caused by increase of uric acid in blood. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;The apple peel water is an excellent medicine for the inflamed eyes as an eye wash. The over-ripe apples are useful as a poultice for sore eyes. The pulp is applied over the closed eyes. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Tooth-decay can be prevented by regular consumption of apples as they possess a mouth cleansing property. &lt;/li&gt;
